What is TKI?
The Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument - TKI was developed by Dr. Kenneth W. Thomas and Dr. Ralph H. Kilmann, and is designed to measure measure a person’s behavior in conflict situations.
It identifies five distinct conflict styles: competing, collaborating, compromising, avoiding and accomodating. It will help you become aware of your default approach in conflict management and it points you to other alternative strategies to manage different conflicts. You will learn how to re-frame and defuse conflict and you will feel empowered to create more productive results when faced with tense situation.
