"Listen & Lead"  Program

Don’t wait to be in a leadership situation to start listening.
It’s through your listening abilities that you become a leader.

To lead you to be a more effective listener, this program focuses on:

what can stop you from listening effectively
how to become aware of your current listening behaviors
which listening types and strategy you will use in Leadership situations
how to learn to develop your effective listening skills

Why would you listen more effectively?

Nobody can tell you to listen.

Only you can decide to be a more effective listener when you have a purpose, a goal.

Effective listeners know very well how listening contribute to their successes. They listen successfully in situations where they want to:
  • learn and grow
  • have more effective communication with others and better relationships
  • accept the ideas of others even when they disagree
  • avoid useless conflicts and, ultimately, wars
  • sense and envision potential projects or problems before anyone else
  • understand and find the courage to take the necessary actions
  • give the gift of listening to the ones they care for
  • in short, simply avoid losing information, clients, health, time, friends, opportunities and money.

How do you learn to be a more effective listener?

Almost everyone knows by now that listening is an active process. There’s no such thing as “passive listening”.

At Leaders Today, in our global approach of listening, we use the expression “effective listening”, it relates more to the goal of listening.

To be an effective listener, you must have first the desire to listen. It’s harder to listen when you force yourself or even more if someone urges you.

The many rewards of being an effective listener encourages you in developing a genuine desire to listen. You’ll be surprised and even touched that others at their turn will have this same desire to listen to you. It’s a win-win situation.

When you decide to become a more effective listener, we’ll be there to guide you on this path.

We invite you to have a look at our “Listen & Lead” Program / Talks and Workshops and contact us for more information and any question.
